Extra Credit Ideas for 4th Bimester Science
This is due Monday April 28th. No exceptions!!!
You only need to do one of these five options.
1. Make a crossword puzzle with the science spelling words; one blank and one with answers. (handmade with graph paper, not from a computer)
2. Make a poster explaining a landslide, volcano, earthquake or Earth’s layers. Explain what happens and label the parts. With color!
3. Make a 3D display/paper sculpture for a landslide, earthquake or Earth’s layers (no volcanoes!). Needs to be detailed with labels.
4. Travel somewhere over spring break and take photos to share with class (landslide, volcano, a place with weathering/erosion). This can be a digital slideshow, a poster or a photo book. You need to be able to explain CLEARLY what you saw and what happened.
5. Make a poster of what to do in case of an earthquake.
-- All work must be done by hand, no computer.
-- Draw your own pictures (exception is #4).
-- List the sources where you got your information.
-- It needs to look like you put time into it, not that you took five minutes to throw it all together.
-- You can receive 6 exam points for a well done project. For example, if you have a 14/22 (64%) on your exam, this would give you a 20/22 (90%).
